This Ghana comic spy thriller is about the first discovery of oil, the building of a refinery and then the destruction through industrial espionage by outside forces.
“Afreeka Globe – It has been suggested that it’s the systematic acquisition of Ghanaian major resources in a bid to control the gateway to Africa… could it be true? put our best reporter on the case”…
The conspiracy involves the control of West African leader Amura and human basic resources such as water to force low crop yields. Electricity has been prevented from fully functioning to hamper the manufacturing industry. Reduced communication of the Internet, phone and disruption of satellite services is in effect to control speed and censorship of media distribution. Mining of mineral wealth has been halted to prevent the purchase of technology and prevent growth of the nation to super power status.
We join the adventure midway through the saga, with an electronic transmission glitch from UK to the USA between wealthy individuals. It’s intercepted by the Russians and the information offered up for sale to the Chinese.
A silent techno war creeps forward as “Chinese troops” in the form of domestic workers get caught illegally mining supposedly for gold, but in fact it’s a smoke screen for Chinese researchers to extract a sample mineral of “Ghaladamite Ore”.
“Afreeka Globe – We suspect the ore was first detected during the initial offshore test drilling for oil. Satellite scans show that the geological mines for the ore, were not only found at sea, where mining it would draw too much attention, but also at inland caves unearthed during the construction of Africa’s largest man-made harbour oil refinery.”
… Ghale hears of a child, Ananse-who seems to have developed extraordinary perceptive powers. News reporter Ghale goes undercover in order track down the kid in an attempt to discover if this phenomenon is related to the ore…
